fished roker lastnite with maddog nd dancin legs lez got a bit sport with the flattys gettin a bite a cast i ended up with 5 flattys nd 2 tommys maddog got a flatty nd a rocklin dancin legs got a rockling loads of flattys bein caught also i caught a crab sorry i havnt got a pic but it was purple nd orange with see through back thin legs does any 1 no what this is

welldone lads on the fish if ya mean the crab possibly a velvet crab with it been purple very shifty things

!aye codseeker it looked a bit lyk that but it was orange with purple marks and its back legs were see through some blowk at riverside park was talking bout them he said they were some type of chinese crab also it looked just lyk a normal peeler but was different colour

By the sounds ov it mate u cort a velvet swimming crab. they hav a black/blue purpley colour and a velvety feel on the shell. they also hav wide ish back legs, hense "swimming crab"
