Its been a few weeks since Ashley upset the supporters. from a business point of view he must be tempted 
Carol is showing great potential and home grown talent should be retained and nurtured. How is the club going to grow and earn respect if we sell our young stars. I am sure it makes the fans even more proud to support local lads playing for their local team.
Lets hope he isn't after a bit of cash to take to the casino

if he does a "Bent" and goes for the money then good riddance - the club will be better off financially...I'm not convinced it's going to happen though (yet

I am sure i will be shot down for this but i would say let him go for 25m if and only if all 25m is left to buy other players...i have struggled for 2 years to see what all the fuss is about Carol, yes he is good and doen well this year but nothing out this world..English and his age boosted the price up loads i would say.
Mind i had laods of trust in Chris to find the players but Parpoow i hate to think who he would buy.

Now confirmed, and he'd handed a transfer request in earlier. The lad must have dreamed of playing for Newcastle since he was a kid, and is now a geordie hero, what more could he want.....3.5 million i guess...

30k a week to 90k a week...as with just about every player or person for that matter...money talks.
I am sad to see him go thou not that bothered...more concerned at what we have left up front..poow poow and lazy poow.
Closer we get to that 40 point mark the better but as always still sticking with toon to stay up and go on a canny run After the Arsenal match...what should be an easy?? run of games with lower teams..fingers crossed.

just been talking to my nephew. He played with carroll for years as a junior, went to all the england under 14 training camps with him. the pair of em were offered the works - my nephew decided at 15 to be a ****head instead
