What's up with footie supporters?
We have the Mackems all hailing Gus for keeping the team in the Premiership albeit at the bottom of the league in relative terms, then we have the other lot shouting for the sacking of Pardue for keeping the team in mid table.
Despite all the lack of investment in the team I think Pardue has done as good a job as you could expect in the circumstances. OK he lost a few easy games but that's what most teams do. Look at Chelsea, Man U, et all who all fell to the black cats.
I don't support either team but like to see them do well so it's nice to see both of them in the Premiership for next season.
Just answer the conundrum though you Magpies. Why is Pardue's job on the line for keeping you in safety all season while Gus's is safe for a last minute escape from relegation?
