now your just rubbing it in.

never had one in me natch\' never had any from the NE coast. the only place north of the south coast I\'ve ever caught em is maybe half a dozen schoolies on the west coast of scotland

john,
yous must have only had 10 drops each 5 fish a drop 3 fishing =150 lol ,looks like you were using very light gear good sport i bet

gary

fantastic sport 4-6oz up-tiding rods, casting about 60-70 yards out the back of the boat only fishing into about 3 - 4ft of water on the sand banks about ten miles out
seagulls diving all over the place after the sandeels and white bait with bass below chasing....
like you say Gary not many drops / casts your right mate does not last long only about half an hour in total as you have to keep following them if you can had the prop in the sand a few times reading zero on the sounder.

great fun usually only happens once or twice a year.....

Nice fish though !!!

Was going to try and have a trip down Lincolnshire way this summer for some smoothies but never got the time. I\'m determined to have at least one bash next summer, I would love to see what they\'re like.

fantastic fish to catch, they just go and go, hermit crab is the bait to use.

zip slider rig with a strong flowing trace about 3ft long
