Forecast wrong again

well they were saying north easterlies ect today ect ,but its changed again just looked on the bbc website and its 5 mile hour southerlies, and then westerlies tommora,so all you xmas comp fishermen will be safe on sunday good luck lads and get a good prize

if you read it proper mate it tells you its the wind speed it s dropping to at midday and its 9 mile hr not that strong mate , but heres the site ,as i said its not strong n easterlies today and tommora as forcast so once again , good luck tommorow lads

Its a forcast not a definte.
Try waiting offshre with millions of quid at stake with the top forecasters trying to say when a big lift can go ahead.
They still get it wrong now and then so a local general forecast is always going to be iffy.

cant belive it davie its the same site but 2 totally different forecasts ,and wind directions ,guess that means they dont even know ,il do wat a used to do if a spit infront of me into the wind ,and if it hits me in the eye il leave it for another day lol

Its worth looking at whats happening in the north sea to get an idea of sea state for our part of the coast. Eg the BBC might show westerlies for Peterlee but there could be a low pressure system off the North-east coast of Scotland giving Northerlies which will lift the sea here.
