fourtrak rod carrier

since i have had the trak carrying the rods has been a pain in the backside, inside they are in your face, over monrths i have been trying to lacate a rack type thing to get them on the roof, the problem is the trak has gutters on the front, looking at halfords and the likes the price is high for any sort of rack, got a price on one of the fourwheel drive forums i am on £150 , to carry a couple of rods, looking on ebay i found the ideal thing, basically its a set of roof bars that carry ski`s , as its gutter mounted few if any want them, ideal for me , total cost £21, the rubber centers hold the rods secure as hell without damage, i can even get my three leg rod rest on there as well, tried it out for the fist time the other night , drove all over horden without them moving at all, any you lads got gutters on your vehicle and want to carry the rods outside, could be worth you looking on ebay for ski racks

Its a Four Track!! its not pretty enough to be a chelsea tractor!!

Hell of a motor mate i had one of those could drive through anything. but if you go round a bend over 5mph the back end used to kick out lol. Wish I still had it, saying that i couldnt afford the fuel lol

I have a soft rack i use on my car but that ould be no good to you either cos i'm pretty sure them little windows at the back dont open, i dont know if you know but your sun roof comes off completly so you could stick them through there! if its not raining that is!

shes prob more eco friendly than your vehicle mate, runs on 75% rapeseed 0il and 25% dino juice, smells like a chinese chippy on e`s , diesels though are pumping less hydrocarbons that a petrol anyway

just dont get behind it, you may get the overwelming urge to go order fish n chips

yeah your right phil, no openers at the rear, the new racks hold the rods firm as hell tbh, yeah i know about the roof, trouble is i know when i do its gona start hammering dowm , shes not too bad cornering as long as you keep the power down, unless its wet wet that is
