Free freezer available

Hi all, I have a freezer available to pick up for free if anyone is interested?

I've kept it in my garage and it's perfect for storing bait with 4 shelves. The door is a bit rusty but the freezer works fine and I'm only getting rid of it because I've bought a fridge freezer.

Fridge freezers and garages don't mix very well mind the thermostats aren't made for outdoor use, the fridge side normaly works fine but the freezers tend to defrost all the time, best not to keep all your eggs in the same bascket

ive had me freezer in outhouses and garage for over 30 year mate and never had a problem keep frozen great one of me freezers is still going strong now after 22 year

I bought fridge freezer for bait new!
Got rid afta several lots defrosted.
As stated dont work outside in minus temps get single units mate

My fridges and chest freezer is in my garage at the door and never ever been a problem touch wood

Freezers by themselves are great i have both a fridge and a freezer in my shed
it's the combined fridge freezer's that are the problem, it's the way the thermostat works on them.

The new fridge freezer is for the kitchen and the freezer from the kitchen is going into the garage to take the place of the freezer I'm trying to give away which has been in my garage for 6 years and not had any problems with it.

No problem just brought the subject up because i thought you where going to use the fridge freezer in your garage for bait. Nowt worse than having
a freezer full of crab and other baits defrost unexpectedly, wouldn't wish it on anyone

No probs. I wasn't aware that fridge freezers are dodgy if kept in a garage and I did consider getting one second hand for the garage but glad I didn't now. Thanks for the advice

Free freezer available

The freezer is going to the tip tomorrow morning if no one wants it, so if anyone does want it then let me know by 9am tomorrow. Thanks
