fished the above mark from 11am to 9pm, sea was flst as a witches tit, bites did t come on til 3 hours into the flood with baits coming back untouched, fish few and far between but ended up with 2 coalies and 4 whities all returned safe, only seen 5 other whities and 1 small flatty all day, met a nice fella with good knowledge of the area, possibly meeting back thrre on thursdsy after the north easterlys thst are forecast on tuesday and wednesday which will hopefully give the sea the kicking it needs...

sorry to hear you didnt the biggie.Hopefully the seas will bring some more fish in, How was your first experience of fishing the cliffs? Did you get the guys name who you were next too.

sure it will mate, quite enjoyed it mate nice chsnge and only lost 1 sinker all day, ill defo go back, I didnt get the guys name but h lives on the sea front as is a regular at that mark and has been for many years mate, he looks on here but isnt registered, defo be back tho jamie thanks fo pointing me in the right direction, tight lines pal

I walked down to the lowest point of the cliff and dropped them into the swell after safely removing the hook, no floaters and all swam away mate

my son returned his fish from the n/row with the aid of his grip lead defo works sometimes it was just a tommy but swam away did,nt come back up and that was on a 5/0 hook the greedy little buggers still try and scoff the big baits he was putting out we,ve got to all do our bit and try and put the smaller fish back to hopefully catch another day, gripes my crap when people throw fish from a height over piers etc which stand no chance i know sometimes thier will be exceptions but we,ve at least got to try other than when safety is paramount no fish is worth your life

totally agree mate my small stuff always goes back and always try to keep thm alive, hate seeing people yanking hooks out of small fish and keeping them or throwing back dead, no need for it

Nice session for you mate just need to be careful when you put them fish back from the cliffs we've had a lot of rain lately so the edges give way without warning
