Is the frozen peeler from Taylors green ? Only asking because i bought some frozen peeler what was whitish at a tackle shop i'll not mention,and it was sh*te. Seemed full of water and no natural juices when it was thawing. Never had a bite all day with it, even yt's turned their noses up at it.
I've been thinking about ordering some from Kent. Has anyone bought from Kent, and what they like, quality wise.

Sounds like you were sold velvets mate they are white inside and not very good as bait i bought a load as they were cheapish

Yes mate, they were vac packed. They were white and looked washed out after one cast. Have you heard any good reports from Devon peeler. There's someone on fleabay with a 95% selling rating and know my luck, i'd be one of the 5% who'd be not happy.

Devon peeler can be hitty missy and last time i checked were 2 quid a crab which is steep considering the same person sells them for half of that in summer months, as devon peelers peel more than 1/2 times a year they are a lot smaller than peelers we have up here m8.

Get yourself to taylors he has plenty frozen in stock and i have had decent bags of cod from river with them 1.30 for 1 large or 2 small1 small crab is enugh for 1 bait with a bit lug on.

peeler isnt the be all end all in winter a good worm bait can land a decent cod my pb 6lb came from a lug worm bait.
