I bought the above which came with Panasonic recharable batteries, which are pants! Gives about 10 mins before dying! Any advice on what make of rechargables I should buy please? Is Duracell the best? Also how long should the charge last on the camera before they need boosted again?

hi kayos. it there are good makes like energizer and duracell. u want something with high mAh. having said that what u does affect the life of the battery. i have a point n shoot . i use around 70 times a night on a weekend with flash on 1300 mah batteries which i have charged and rechareged for three 3yrs n they are ok. the size of the display screen also affects battery life. for a tenner u can now 2500mAh batteries rechargeable AA . they are very spot on.

mate mah stands for mili amp hrs, the higher the number the longer they last and the more expensive they are mine are 3200 and last for ages

Ah OK, just checked mine. They are energisers 2450 but literally last about 15 mins. I guess they are gubbed! Battery shop for me today!
