Ha, now i know your secret weapons :D. But really, one of the best parts of boat fishing is the " Getting Ready " part, think you'll agree...:)

Great stock. What are your opening hours!:D:D. Well prepaired there Richie, and Stingray ready to go. First high........come on.

When we you find agood wreck i tryand put down other things and other gear just to prove they work and TBO alot of the time if i put down a yellow, white or another colours with a orange lure i will catch as many on the other colours...i will always use orange thou as it is what catches me :) and what i feel is the best.

dragged the box into the lounge last night and started getting ready...cleared the wrecking rigs to one side in preparation for the early season stuff...oooh cannit wait! :D

I find I like to have just enough rigs tied to last a session or two - that way you have the added anticipation of having to tie more rigs as the season progresses...plus sometimes you can experiment with rig designs a little...I tried a 1 up 1 down flowing trace last year with fairly average results so that's knocked on the head this year and it's back to basics...lot's of lure/shad type stuff this year methinks :)

Well thats it wiped out, the last bit of cod/ling was taken out the freezer today and eaten, already being pestered to stock it up with 2-4lb cod and odd ling......4 weeks and counting until we try :)

Hope orange does well this year, i got 100 x 12cm muppets off ebay last week but only paid £4.00 inc postage.

Last year i got sick of the muppet sliding down the hook, so i've been putting a bead down the line, resting on the hook eye and then sliding the muppet down the line. Anyone tried it this way ?
