Here is a video clip of todays practice with the 175 gram weight where you will see three casts with the second being the best where I have waited on the turn and allowed the sinker to step outside of the tip before applying the power.
The last cast is where I have turned too quickly not allowing the lead to step out and subsequently snapp off.
