Just a quick report on last nights few hours out. Fished two hours up and down at the Glass Centre - lovely night listening to the match accompanied by the rats, jesus some of them are as big as kittens!
Anyway, setup and before had a chance to pour a cuppa was straight into the first of the night
After that got these two in quick succession
Went quiet as tide peaked and then hit into another couple of small fry
Any help on id'ing the catches would be appreciated - always get confused with pollack/pollock/coley/whiting (can see the difference in colours and curves of the line) and the blemny thing??
Cracking night with a few different species and nice easy fishing under light - would definitely recommend the place for an easy session.
Used mackeral, bluey, squid but everything was caught on yellowtails - rest of these to be used today so will post back tonight on how they get on.
