hi all,been fishing off the glass centre tonight just to use up little bit rag left over off tuesday night.Took 8 foot spinning rod with me,set up with 2 hook flapper and ounce bomb weight and had a cracking bit sport,ended up with 3 cracking whiteys over a pound and returned 4 or 5 under size coleys,great bit of sport

Nice one Toddy, nowt better than catching on the light gear. I use a Carp rod and it is great fun mate. Sounds like you had a great session.

Nice one mate, I sometimes enjoy fishing alone but also enjoy fishing with mates too. Funny though, I never get through as many mints when I fish alone lol.

welldone m8, canny sesh and great report, i like using light tackle too but a dont think a could bring meslf to use it in the winter just incase a good cod takes it but then again wots the chances of that happening lol

yes i have a 9ft telescopic suposed spinning rod which i use would'nt fancy spinning with it but its mint for catching them small whities an flattys hoy you all over

Nice one Toddy,providing the conditions and venue is right you can have some great fun using light gear,seen some big Coleys and Whiting caught down the side of the Pier at Blyth and in the harbour this time of year using light gear
