thought id give it a go down south hylton got down about 9.00 was low water getting loads of nibbles on bait rag and mackrel then fist dab about 30 cm next another dab about same size the next was about 15 cm then nothing so packed up and left about 13.00 canny day

cheers mate only been started back fishing a couple of months so im really happy with today used to fish when i was a bairn

They'll have been Flounders mate. You don't get Dabs that far upriver.

Well done on the catch though.

cheers for that mate il get to know me fish eventually was back down today sunday 7.30 till 11.00 caught only 1 flounder not dab and plenty crabs biteing just got to keep an eye on the rowing club up and down the river

Ya never blanked mate so its a well done from me again lol
it used to be a cracking spot for flattys never fished there for a good few
years might have to give it ago. What bait did ya use rag tip of with macky
again.
