Went up to the pond today, I'm in night shift and haven't been out for two weeks now,
Arrived at 8.30, it was a bright morning with virtually no wind i didn't think it would be worth while but i was there so had a go mainly to try some new flies,
Took the boat and started to drift if you can call it that, well third cast first fish on fought like mad as if on steroids, within the next two hours i had seven to the net three up to 4lb, all returned safely, lost one,
All fish were caught on my Coral Damsel with the addition of Goose biots, the biots stood up well with the hammering they got.
Took a few pics with my mobile.

Good luck with the tying great pastime for the winter,
keep the flies simple to start with, only tie the ones you think will catch fish or you will end up with a box full that you will never use.
I would suggest Pheasant tails & Hare's ear's.
John.
