good weekend fishing

started friday night at collywell bottom of the ramp good sea on had 2 fish over high water about 5 pound in total my mate had 1 for 3 pound baits were rag muscle razor fish squid.

saturday night went to fish the bibles over low water sea was perfect first hour had no bites then the fish started to bite ended up with 4 fish for 18 pound biggest was 7 pound me mate had 2 fish for 8 pound good night best so far this winter.baits were crab muscle razor clam.

sunday fished hartley over low water sea was massive only 2 fish couple 2 pounders but well worth the effort me mate blanked but didnt complain as we had a good weekendbaits were crab clam muscle razor runnydown

Sounds like a good weekends fishing mate - a lot better than mine! Boz, the Bibles is at the back of West Bay (St. Mary's) between West Bay Skeer & Hartley.

great weekend for you m8, i was at collywell sunday for low water big sea and not a bite. did find a cod though with 2 hooks in it and a sinker so all was not lost lol/

by the way where is bibles ?

i hung a fish there the other day lol, tried to let it swim free but nowt happened, ended up losing my rig!

never heard of that mark before, is that the small skeer to the right of hartley island?

The small skeer by Hartley Island is the Cresant, the Bibles is more of a high-water shot, the flattish rocks close to the shore in the middle of West Bay.

where did you fish for the Sunday comp. I was fishing hartley skeer, then hartley island then back onto hartley skeer and all I had was a small lobster.
