Hi All , long time no see . While on my travels I heard the owner of Oqeteau boat company ( isle of Oleron , France ) came in to the plant and fired everyone . Pity to say the least having had "Dolly" on the Tyne as a lot of you know .

Hope you are well and tight lines , oh and Ritchie , try to smile more .

My word Dave thought you had been lost for good, nice to see you back and as far as smiling goes you should know that only happens after curry beans.

Get your self back up here in the summer, spare bed and boat trip awaits for you one weekend.

I would Mark as you lost me as well now.

Back in time as first time since 2006 this group of people have all been on 1 thread.

Hallow Dave :) How you doin' you old globe-trotter??? great to see you posting - mind you - not posted meself for a long time...hahaha. Rich - you're so right......very nostalgic thread, this:cool: "2006" ???? - Was it really THAT long ago ???:(

Never mind "Dolly" (far too "modern", lol)...........I loved "Poacher".......what a lovelly boat with a chug-a-long engine and many happy hours fishing on her. Aye them were the days, lol ;) Got several framed photos on the wall in the hall and up the stairs (all taken on Poacher). Great times and memories, Dave - thanks :)

Thanks very much lads , it was really good times and good mates , I often keep track of NESA when I am away . I will be up Rich when it all kicks off ( soon eh Norman ! ) . Been a tough few years with one thing and another ( was in Chile just before xmas at Conception , narrow escape ! ) .

What a great bunch of lads , heart felt .

Still here Dave, bought a new pair of trousers for work last week so still dedicated to The Council. Be great to see you mate. Need any crew members :red:, on land or at sea, maybe even in the sky - or space, that would be funny -

"Dave Mason?"
"Ell?"
"Fancy seeing you here!"
"Mars innit"
"I know - mental!"
