Fished Grahams sands last night 8.45pm to 12.40am which was about one hour down to low water then 3 hours up. I set up in the middle of the bay slightly towards the left (towards trow point) casting straight out. Got to try out my new cheap Lidl waders
Sea was fairly flat and a clear sky full of stars. Nobody else around except for two lads fishing the big beach on the other side of the point and some bunnies running about on the grass behind. Baits used rag, lug, mackeral and prawn. I only caught one fish , a rockling (on prawn), but it was a nice night to be out. The Lidl waders seem good for the money (£16.99) but they are not breathable so by the end of the session my legs were as damp as a chinese wrestlers jock strap. Still, they let me wade out a fair way to cast so increasing my distance (which is usually crap
). I had a Lidl tip light on too and they are really bright and good value.
