Had a trip up north last night with two mates on a beach mark, the wind was absalulty pounding in or faces but the sea was looking great. Lee2010 had one first cast a little codling for a 1lb. Once the water had pushed back enough to get onto the sand bar I was the first to weighed onto it and within 2mins of casting out bang 1cod for 1lb n half on full squid. Second chuck even better bite slack line the hole lot, got it in and a nice 3lber. 3rd chuck and once again bang my 3rd cod for about 1lb let that one fight another day. 4th cast ended with yet another cod for around 2lb. At this point my mates were in disbelief as they had nothing!! One me mates decided to move right of me and straight away he pulled into a 2lber but he was admit that it was a double when pulling in haha. Av been saying it for a while now 2014 is gona be my year!! role on Amble open.

Great session matey. same thing happened to me last week, stood next to me mate at the blast and caught nothing all night while he pulled out 4 cod.
