great start to 2012

turned up to fish the cleadon club comp tonight and headed to the tyne ,has i was on me way there was a cracking puddle from the side to the middle of the road , a says get in no one is walking past that so a went for it , car conked out dead a was going no where pushed it into the petrol station trying all sorts for an hour it wasnt having none of it battery had died by then ,so a walked down to the mark a mile or so down the road with out any gear i knew where the lads wud be fishing and sat with them and hoped one wud blank as they wudnt need to rush back to the weigh in and id get a tow off them :D so i wud like to thank HARRA for the tow which the the car started back home now safe n warm :D

Same happened to me years ago, the guy who helped me out had some WD40 in his car and i think he spray'd the electrics n the carb and it started practically straight away so I always keep some in glove box now
Might be worth doin if ya like playn in puddles codseeker:D

i fished next to a guy on the end of shields who was fishing the match. he around 40 whiting.

any idea what his final bag was?

Serves you right. How old are you, 10? Or a charver with no road concern for others?
You are lucky. A similar idiot did this in Manchester and lost control of his car, he did his electrics too, but also killed someone. No doubt you and the idiots laughing and joking at your experience would be some of the biggest critics had it went the other way.

Seems a few people are having little problems/accidents with fishing gear/vehicles at the moment, including me and you (your car, me Apollo...:p:rolleyes:)

anar andy seems to be out with an hole in it is jinxed seems like am garn to have to get a new @rse theres an hole in this one :D
