We have had a cracking weekends sport this weekend, well from friday through to sunday any way!
The uptiding has come on big style with everyone getting plenty of plump winter codlings. We have been getting plenty of codlings in the 2lb range but there are a good few starting show between 4lb & 6lb
The prospects are looking great for the upcoming uptide festival
Friday fished best for us, with only 3 of us onboard we took over 50 cod to keep and returned approx 10 under 40cm, best fish was 6lb 9oz,

Saturday was a full boat booking, with most of the lads visiting for the weekend only 4 managed to show up in the morning, plenty of space for them for the day!
The fishing remained good through the day with us managing between 30 and 40 cod
Nelson Sea Angling Club
Sunday we had 9 onboard but as the day before we got steady fishing through the day again boating between 30 and 40 fish for the lads. the best went 7lb 8oz for Ian from the western isles
