Hello,
had a shot at the 35 mark the day, up from there looked chocka with bashers so thought I'd give it a shot. absolutely dead up and over but at around 15:00 started to get some small stuff. Then -



Me second plaice of the season so ower the moon.

Then this dab like thing -



Then switched to a 2 hook flapper and here's the greedy ******* -



nice spots like



bit tricky guiding fish through the rocks at the 35

That was me last chuck as had to **** off, pity as the plaice were coming on well at low water.

Well done Gordon. I haven't had any plaice yet this year, I haven't been on the pier much though. I did go down this morning though, about half seven but by nine it didn't look like anything was happening and the wind was picking up so I left

A big well done you seemed to do a lot better than Steve and me as we were up the end amongst the few who were thrashing the water chasing the elusive mackerel and not doing too well all we had were dabs and small coalies

Canny day. I was on Seaton beach at Hartlepool trying for a Bass today and totally blanked.
