Greys G-Mag 7..... any thoughts?

Hello people.

Just bought a brand new greys g-mag 7 for virtually next to nowt . Anybody have any thoughts or used one of these. Am only gonna use it for the rocks and pier in winter, so not bothered about bad comments aboot it, paid half or less of its usual price!!

I got one of these at the start of the year and it hasnt put a foot wrong. Ive read some poor reviews about them but like i said i have never had any problems so far

i paid 50 for A second and 1, but threre ok maily for beach, not the best on heavy ground, but i love mine, they had problems with the early ones were the meta would oxodise,

A noticed the retrieve is only 5.1:1, but for £30 a cannot. complain! It will be mainly used as a spare/backup reel for rocks or pier.

I've read good and bad reports about them mate but like you say 30 notes for a brand new multi and you can't grumble. Take it out and give it a few real blasters and see what happens for performance but only time will tell for reliability.

Just look around and if ya in the right place at the correct time you'll get a bargin. It was actually for sale for £59, but a managed to winkle doon the price a bit with some technical talk about the reel and prices seen else where
