I would like to share my variation of the GRHE to those serious fishers among you.
This is not a stocky basher it will take fish on any water even catch & release when fish are wary, this one is tyed on size 12 nymph hook, the addition of olive flash on the rib and peacock thorax cover makes all the difference.
Try one. watch the takes they are fast & hard,

Thanks for the fly pattern.
Tied some up last night for Linlithgow lake today.
Got a Rainbow 4lb+ followed by a 2lb+ next cast on the olive version.
