groundbaiting

Hi lads wandering around the supermarket with our lass on sunday:mad:it occurred to me that when i am spinning with jelly worms or bottom fishing with heavy gear directly into the kelp could it be worth ground baiting, the tins of pilchards(not in tomato sauce)and tins of tuna are really cheap,i was also thinking of adding previously caught mackerel as an added ingredient, any ideas of how to mix it to bring the fish in,bread, bran,or in an onion sack creating a chum trail, anyone tried it:question:

Have seen mackrel mashed up and mix with bran and bread and used for mullet when float fishing its affective for fish feeding high up in the water column first couple a feet.

Also mackrel mashed up and put in am onion sack and tided to the anchor rope and thrown over the side of the boat when tope fishing.
