Well I had a run out today as the weather was fantastic with myself and my mate Adam onboard.
The sea was like a mill pond and there was no need for flotation suits and tank goggles today!
Tried 4 wrecks and a few patches of hard ground doing over 35 miles for bugger all! Lovely day at sea anyway and the last session for me until May as I am off to the Congo on Saturday with work. My main mission when I get there is to see if they actually do drink Um Bongo in the Congo!

Good luck to all for the next few weeks and save some of the elusive fish for me! Hopefuly by the time I get back fish should be showing all over and the wrecks just starting to kick off!

Um bongo bongo they drink it in the Congo lol. Sounds an interesting adventure.

Been killing me at work today with hardly any wind and glorious sunshine, thinking about the boat a lot.

Shame about the fish but crackin day to be out.

enjoy your trip to the congo thanx for doin all the hard work lookin for fish saved jeff and me pi===== about lookin for dem will wait a couple of weeks now:D

Hard lines on the fishing - cracking day to be out on the other hand! Well Wicked Jack should be in the water this weekend so I'm sure I'll see you out there soon Graham!

Aye LK, the drift speed was spot on but the water not totally clear yet, I have never tried the wrecks at this time of year before so had to give it a go. In hindsight I wish I had picked an inshore one and anchored up as Arthur is the only one nailing them at the minute! It's one to put down to experience but I am sure if it is flat calm and sunny next March I will probobly do the same again!!!!!!! Just to make sure the fish aren't there! It just makes you wonder how the wrecks are fishing off Whitby but not up here? I know Paul fishes the ones further out but he has been reporting fish on the inshore ones as well?
Hope you get her in soon Dave, we can get that 30 mile east wrecking trip sorted when I get back! :D Don't catch too many!

Graham.
