Got on the groyne for about 08:00 with tide almost on the change, and also minus a rod rest doh! once box had been converted into a make shift rodrest, me first cast was hittin the horizon loaded will juicy yella's. didn't even have second rig baited up and a had me first coddling in. Not size but a fish. 2nd chuck another small coddlin. 3rd chuck and a strike into something bit bigger, but 10 yards out the fish heads for the weed in the groyne foundations. Results in fish coming out tops as me 3/0 sakuma hook decides to snap!!!! fish felt like a 3lb+. 10 casts later and 10 fish later a canny session comes to end. Not a bad day at all out of the 12 fish 2 were size (coalie and a coddlin) the rest all around 30cm. Might pop back for another session in mornin a bit earlier for more of the flood.

Was pleasantly surprised Skiny, gud sport on me TT Ultra lite. All fish returned alive and kicking which was a bonus aswell. Mickey the Groyne is on the left side of Little Haven beach S/S you cant miss it. Its a huge red structure. Park in the haven Hotel and walk towards beach and you'll see it m8
