halibut and hake

i heard that a 31lb halibut and a 9lb 8 oz hake were caught a mile and a half off shields pier yesterday in a net
the bloke was getting prawns and pulled these in aswell

Seen one of the trawlers at Blyth who were fishing for Prawns close in with a Halibut of around 15lb and a Turbut about the same size,the lad said they are\'nt uncommon around here,he would\'nt say exactly where he was fishing though lol
