Hello guys went down to the Pool again today. Thought i would give Steetly a go. Drove motor up to the end of Cemetery road at about 2 pm and saw a Picasso with its back window out and rear hatch cover blowing in the wind.This car was parked at the end of the road.
Car had been screwed. No sign of the scroats so turned my motor round and parked up opposite the twin steps and had the long walk along the beach lugging all of my stuff.
Broke the bad news to a couple of lads on the end whose car it was.
I set up on the concrete end of the pier and used rag and Macky on two rods.Nowt much doing but had a lovely knock and when i felt it bite again pulled in my first ever Plaice. Lovely red dots on it and well above the lagal size of 270mm.Went in the bag.
Went a bit quiet but had a few knocks and pulled up a little dab. This went back.
At one point one of my rods went crackers bouncing all over when i pulled it in there was a mackeral on the end. It fell off as i pulled it in.
Darkness came and the craabs came out so i called it a day at about 8pm.
