has anyone fished Hartlepool of recent times mainly piers if so how has it being fishing thinking of heading out for high water maybe the huegh for a few hours sport
 
you'll definately catch on the heugh, worms tipped with mackerel is all thats needed. there will be dabs and whiting. the odd small codling or flounder could also turn up.

fish right off the end.
 
I know the pier well mate cheers but I was just wondering how it was fishing
expecting a bag full of whities tonight may even move down the pier mid tide try rock edges with crab later on

I was at Parton last night mate about 8 flatties caught and a young un had a bass of about 2 pound it's always worth ago down there if for nothing more the peace and quiet don't cast to far 40 yards is all u need

yeah Parton is a relaxing place to fish and only a stone throw from my house, hope it throws up a few whiteys and a bass tonight fingers crossed
