has anyone lost a chava rod rest?

was fishing by the pumphouse last night and i found this rod rest so was wondering if anyone has lost it , it looks like an australian one with the marking 'fosters' on the side but couldnt make it out as there was so much tape on it , i heard that you can get them in makes like, strongbow, john smiths, woodpecker, and an irish one called guiness , ive never used em so can any one rate them , apart from that had a good first night out ever fishing , was out with keith and jim and i caught an undersize coley,

heres a pic of that rod rest i left it just incase the owner sobers up and remembers where he left it!!!!, unless its one of the south team snook up in the cover of darkness to claim a spot((in a german beach towels on sun loungers fashion)for the upcoming comp??

Well done on catching your first fish James, just a pity it wasn't just a wee bit bigger as it was only just undersize mate. You did better than Ali, Ray, Keith and myself anyway, I thought there might have been a fish or two last night, especially with the different variety's of bait that were thrown out for them.

That said though, I would still rather fish where we were than the two that were fishing on Cullercoats south pier :o :o :o Just one bad wave is all it takes, and when there is a bit of a lump on it can easily happen. Not a one that would tend to fish that pier anyway but I wouldn't have even thought of fishing on there last night.

Yes well done James :D ! The rest of us didnt even have a sniff. It was still better than sitting in the house.
