Hauxley Friday and Saturday.

First trip of the season so headed up to hauxley on friday night with a nice sea running fished a couple of my favourite marks but there was a lot of weed around making it hard to hold ground ended up with 4 cod all fish around the 1lb and half to 2lb mark kept 1 released others.So headed back out last night got to my mark that was weeded out on friday it looked perfect fish from the start had 6 cod all around the 3 to 4 and half lb mark kept 3 all others released safe and well. Looking good for the start of the season hope it keeps up for just waiting for the doubler to come along tight lines all keep safe.

Well done to stick it out friday night up here that weather was shocking i had a load of fresh bait but could not motorvate myself to go down

Yes very hard night friday with the strong winds hale stones snow and lighting couldn't pick a better night ha ha just pleased to get out

You had a canny night Davie ,as i Txed ya,we had nowt last night at whitehouse sands,plenty punters down,but only saw one lad get a whiting near us,dont no if there was out caught around ware you were fri n sat ,but a few cars there when we passed,

There was a canny few caught there last night, nowt big, mainly around the 1 to 2 pound mark.
They seemed to have a taste for ragworm and not much else. You can guess what bait I didn't have with me !
