Thought with there still being a bit of colour in the water id have a bash off the rocks at hauxley last night.
Got there for half 9 to find that the shoreline has totaly changed with the lack of sand, couldnt evan find the skeer id normaly fish because it looked so unfermilier.
Eventually got to what i think was left of the skeer,set up and cast out.within minutes was geting lots of small rattles which turned into nothing
and then it arrived by the ton,WEED.
Cast after cast just bringing in tons of the stuff but thawt id stick it out with the hope of a fish which neva showed.
packed up around half 12 on the way back to the car i found the only fish id see all night which was a salmon around the 9 10lb mark.
