Just back on the board after me shoulder op, looks like i aint missed a great deal on the forums...as norman says in a previous post, things are very quite, has the sea been rough for the last few weeks ??, i was hoping to see bumper catch reports from norman and bert...........seems like i sold my boat at the right time ( not that i was ever a threat to the fish stocks on what i caught ), finally i never realised how hard it is to type when you can only move one arm, i think the surgeon must need further access to my shoulder as i have approx 9 inches of metal staples on my shoulder, it looks more like a heavy duty zip you see on a dry suit, no work for me for about 6 months either

Thanks lads, the pain is bloody terribble when the morphine and other drugs wear off, no doubt i will end up buying all sorts of shite off ebay that i dont really need......another depressing thing is the amount of times the phone has rang with people needing boilers fixing or replacing........and all those pennies i could be earning

Hi Bob,
welcome back mate, sorry to hear your shoulders in such pain, still it makes a change from the pain being in the knees. :)

Good to hear form you, as you see and say not a lot going on on the boats lately.

Keep in touch mate, although one arm, one finger typing can take a while .... :) :)

still it makes a change from the pain being in the knees.

Isn't it amazing, as soon as you read a certain post you know there is going to be one sure fire remark that will come from it.

I managed to refrain Norman lmao.

Jim.

Good to see back Bob. Hope your recovery is smooth.

Get yourself on holiday and rest.....if nothing else you won't hear your phone ringing with bolier jobs.

jim,

one of the funniest moments in life (and I Know bob will laugh at this himself) when you look down from the marina office into the lock and there`s bob in his boat coming in from the river ...... with a "friend" (of the female sort) on board and he shouts up "Norman will you come aboard and berth my boat for me , my knees have gone ! " ......... well, need i say more ..... LOL :)

hahahahaha I`ll never forget (or stop taking the pi$$) .....

that was class norman, just pleased a mate was there when i needed one, cant imagine ever living that one down.
sless....most of the websites i go keeps one hand busy whie reading the stories and looking at the pics...haa haa !!!!! you need the other one to refresh the page!!!!!

Or a fish bone, and people call me accident prone!, at least your knee 'accident' was more enjoyable :-)

Still good to hear your OK though.
