Has anyone got any idea where to park when I go and fish at Hawthorn at seaham and would the car be safe

You can park near the bungalow at the nature reserve. Should be OK daylight but on a night I'd park in the village and walk so travel light.....its a long hike...

Has anyone got any idea where to park when I go and fish at Hawthorn at seaham and would the car be safe

Park at the roundabout top of the blast beach,you can pull off the road onto the grass but when its wet you can get bogged down.
Or park over the road nr the trading est safe parking.
