Took my fishing gear today when i went out with the old fella and pleased i did. Some lovely surf. Set up 2pm with £8 worth of rag from John at the Friarage (yet again spot on bait) went to my favourite spot and used two hook flapper rigs with size 2 hooks. Had some canny Bass bites and eventually hooked into a small schoolie. Then i got 3 small dabs. Was just nice to be out. Tell the weathers picking up ended up fishing in my jeans, fleece and wellies.
