Fished the grass bank from 9-2 today no whitings about even small ones. Never the less had 3 nice flounders about plate size, and a few little tommys (all returned safe and well). Fished another rod with massive baits looking for a random but nee good, baits comin back untouched. Cold, but a nice day, we move on.

I fished it tonight at the rop end of tge marina10 til 2. Two little Tommies and a flounder on blacks or mussel. Not a sniff on stuffed squids, tried mussel and cart in them but no interest was shown. Should have stayed in the house and got some kip. Hope roker is open tomorrow.

hard lines mate but at least you got something the river has been very poor compared to last year
