Hebburn 8/2/13

Fished the grass bank at hebburn today opposite the off shore yard 11-3 had a few bites but only managed a codling and a flounder a double hit on a two hook flapper, baits used frozen lug, bluey, squid the codling took lug on the top hook and the flounder took bluey on the bottom hook both fish returned. A bit of a cold day but the wind wasn't too bad had a good day first time I've fished the river for a while

Nice one. I'm thinking of having a shot down Hebburn tomorrow.
By the way, your whiting does look like a tommy, as mentioned by Stewart.
