Hebburn marina twice in 5 days

hello all, fished the above mark on saturday night and agsin last night til 2am, blanked on both with only crabs comng in and stripping the baits, nice to meet lumpsucker on sat neet and another chap last night that managed a couple small codling and 2 flatties. prob try again this weekend but reckon I need to try somewhere different, any suggestions for a POOR CASTER any advice on potential marks would be greatly appreciated...

Hi mate, is the dog ok after eating all them rotten crabs? Top end of roker pier is very clean ground, even close in and you don't need to chuck far to catch fish. I reckon it will packed this weekend though and that's if the gate is open.

Fished church bank Friday night , marina Sunday and grass bank on Monday had pretty much the same biggest codling was 37

Left hand side mate can't fail for flounders or anywhere in the bay side enjoy

I find Left hand seaward side is cleanest at the top of roker pier. last time I didn't even lose a hook on two rods all session, well, apart from one a flounder kept.

bandit ill try that as I never knew river fishes better through the day, learn summit new every day ha l. darnc I fished the 1st corner of the new jetty next to the boat ramp last night n saturday was the 1st layby between the boats

try fishing the slab on SSP mate, dont need a long cast to clear rocks, get some kanny fish on a big sea.

where abouts is the slab mate? is it at the beginning of the pier where the wooden post is?

Anywhere up to the first gate seems to be generally called the slab mate.
