Had a few hours down there today, from low water on.

One small codling, probably just under a pound, only had one eye!! and it went back in to grow a bit more.

Nothing else around, and was struggling to hold ground without any grip leads, so called it a day.

Happy at least that me first session back wasnt a blank

Well done mate on the codling, i fished along at Bill Quay and only managed a flounder about 2 inch's long.

i was down hebburn marina with the old man on friday night fishing high-low tide, really strong current. th old man pulled in a 2lb 3oz codling on rag worm. quite a tckle hungry place. all in all a good night out
