help with wind direction?

what directions are best for the local piers nd beaches? going out tonight and cant work out if this wind is going to be a problem. anyone recommend a sheltered spot for tonight if the wind will prove to be a problem?

best is probalies a beach mark sheltered by the cliffs maybe hall beach wind looks like westerly direction

upto 45mph gusts tonight
might get some shelter on marsden beach or boaties bay.
or stay in the house

Could try a mark in the river.thinking about going out for a couple of hours myself..if i do i`ll be trying the river.

River is probably the safer and best bet .With strong westerly's: low shelterd marks such as camels offer protection and easy retreat from the elements as the rest of the lads have commented.
