decided on a quick 2 hour session up to high water after late shift at work. a nice south easterly sea running so tried hendon prom. ended up with 4 cod all in size, nothing big the best a tad over 2lb, all fish taken on fresh crab. no biggies but still an enjoyable short session, might try tomorrow after work again.
