Hendon promenade monday

Fished Hendon promenade monday,fished three hours up to high water,managed one codling 3lb1oz,caught on yellow tails,frozen runny down and squid.
Went down to Roker pier today on the flood,fished the rough ground towards the end,codling first cast about the 1lb mark safely returned and that was it,pretty poor i thought with the sea having just dropped off.

Well done on catching mate,i know where i'll be the next time theres some nice movement,the prom seems to be fishing rather well this year.

we've been fishing the prom quite a bit this year, hit and miss but like any venue worth the effort at the right state of tide.

my friend and i fished the prom on friday night i had a rattle but that was it but we will be there again this friday hoping to get a decent fish for a change
