Got down for 12pm. Some nice rag from the Friarage with a box of squid. Only one young lad on the pier. He had a cod which i handballed up but turned out to be only a couple of pound. Thought game on. The place had fished its socks off yesterday. Alas it was not to be the case today. Had a couple of flatties and some whities. Not much else caught from anyone.
One lad last night caught 10 cod. And this is not rumour info from the lads who were on the pier today also fishing yesterday.

Mick. sw wind was a barsteward today.

Well done on catching a few fish marra, the whitys have been very scarce this year, but been a good size when they have turned up.

Hi Mick I fished at the barrier for about half an hour. The wind was terrible. Couldnt believe how the two lads on the top level managed to fish - you could hardly stand up. Take care lads too many fatalities already this year. Went to the pilot pier had two small tomies about 8".
