Heugh

Wanting some advice from someone with good knowledge of the Heugh at Hartlepool. Never fished it before but a friend is wanting to try it tomorrow. All comments welcomed.

ive never fished it mate but had a look around the area on sunday while sea was big found a few fishy places lol next time theres a good swell on were gona give it a go to the left of it neer the Heugh battery guns

Gazza, from the battery guns keep walking south until you come to that pier that is fenced off... on the west side of the pier (only accessible at low water) you will have to climb down some steel ladders fixed into the wall to access it is a mark called London rock! fished it's tits off last year (full of kelpies!) best bait was lug and big balls of mussels - word of warning - hold onto your rod as bites are quite ferocious and twice Ive seen rods pulled in.
