high shore 3/12/08

just got back from high shore, i got a plaice about a lb and a small codling. bait used was rag left over from sunday. not much else getting caught and there was a lot of small bites which i couldn't connect with. not a bad couple of hours and at least i didn't blank.

its between royal quays marina and the old smiths dock, its a canny shot for the kids as there's a fence there and you get some canny fish there. over the last couple of weeks there's been a few 2-3lb codling and a 6lber

I've caught plenty fish at High Shore but it's a love/hate spot for me...it's easy fishing when you just want a couple of hours out but it has yet to yield a decent bag of fish - and yet I know they get caught there
