anyone been to higham lakes near ponteland supposed to be going sat for the day is it very big or any good . jamcod

Higham has a new lake opening on Sat try and book in for that one. Just pull a lure through as the fish will be new and will prob eat anything.

Been a couple of times this season and managed a couple of returns mainly using various buzzers ( my favourite type of fishing ), the " old lake " isn't all that big but you still get a fair days fishing.

As Nigels points out, trying to get on the new lake should get you a good days sport.
