myself and my son fished higham last night sy son got his first trout which weighed in at 2lb 11ozs and i blanked

I was talking to Clive one of the rangers up at Derwent wednesday he was saying July is usually a very hard month to catch trout. Atmospheric pressure/heat who knows.
I have blanked on my last two outings and am a bit fed up-but i,ll be back.
Your son looks proud as punch with the rainbow-well done.
