Holderness coast, spurn point

Me and my mate made the 3hr journey down to withernsea on sunday morning. Only to be greeted by 15ft rollers coming into the shore. We spoke to a local and he said spurn point would be calmer. We found a mark and were set up by 3pm. After speaking to another local he told us what we didnt want to hear (the fish were here 2 days ago, but since the wind changed theres been nowt caught) Tyipical, weve gone to where the fish were. We decided to stick it out, but shouldnt have bothered. We fished tide in,out,in then back out again. total catch was..........me 1 bass(2lb), my mate NOWT. bait used was Peeler, Mackeral,Rag,Squid and sandeel.

hi m8, welldone on the fish you did manage, i also had a seshion on a mark down holderness on early sat morn in similar conditions along with a fellow angler called dave, also very poor with only the 1 fish each, a bass of 2.2lb for myself and a 6.4lb bass for dave

unlucky on the seshion down that way mate,always hard to take when youve driven all them miles,better luck on the next adventure tho
